$600 in Donations Collected from Loonie Bear!

July 27th, 2017 marked another day to collect from our local Loonie Bear. And how exciting! Donations reached $600 – most of which, was in the form of loonies ($320).

The Bear was donated to the City of Kenora in 2006 courtesy of Andrew Paterson. This unique bank helps raise funds for the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation.

Collections take place 2-3 times a year.
