Announcement of KMTS Partnership

January 25, 2013

KMTS is pleased to release the 2013 Kenora Telephone Directory.
This year’s cover photo contest was themed “North America’s Premier Boating Destination” in alignment with the City of Kenora’s tourism brand. With over 100 images submitted, Wayne Papp’s foggy morning image ultimately won the honour and a $500 cash prize.
KMTS also teamed up with Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation by donating the back cover of the Directory to the “Give where you live” campaign, featuring Kenora resident Irene Maunder. Don Parfitt, President the Foundation comments, “ We are extremely pleased to be in partnership with KMTS, in this significant gift of the back page of the 2013 Kenora Telephone Directory. We see this as a win – win for both of us, but especially for the entire Kenora and Lake of the Woods Region. The visibility provided by KMTS, will help us connect with donors who wish to make a lasting gift to our region’s charities.”  Official presentation of the first set of directories will be made to Wayne, Irene and Don on Monday, January 28, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at KMTS Store.
