Annual Ladies Luncheon a Resounding Success

The Annual Ladies Luncheon at the Royal Lake of the Woods Yacht club was a resounding success thanks to the leadership of event organizers; Karen Dunlop and Charlotte Sytnyk.  The event was in support of the Yacht Club and the Women’s Shelter Saakaate House Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation. Master of ceremonies, Ashleigh Banfield, provided some light hearted entertainment while the guests enjoyed a delicious summer lunch. A highlight of the event was the excitement provided by a silent auction, with items generously provided by Kenora merchants.  The guests also appreciated the spirit of fellowship provided by the event.   The Community Foundation extends a sincere thank you to organizers Karen Dunlop and Charlotte Sytnyk, Master of Ceremonies Ashleigh Banfield, all participating merchants and all guests for making the event a wonderful success!
