LOWAC Dip, Dip, & Swing

June 27th marked the day for the Grand Unveiling for the Lake of the Woods Art Community’s Dip, Dip, & Swing exhibit in Memorial Park. The exhibit features artwork inspired by the opening of the Cross-Canada Trail – Path of the Paddle and also by Kenora’s hosting of the Summer Games, rowing events, at Rabbit Lake.

Local participating artists showcased their work and activities included canoe painting and sculpture activities.

Art pieces are on display in public spaces around Kenora (Harbourfront, Memorial Park and some local businesses) until August 20th.

This art exhibition was helped made possible by a $3,000 Canada 150 grant through the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation.
