Saint Louis students in Kenora unveil “Together”
A grant of $2,250 from the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation in the fall of 2016, helped a group of students from St – Louis School, produce a stunning painting, entitled “Together”.
The piece was donated to the Northwestern Health Unit in Kenora on March 22, 2017 and was proudly accepted by their CEO Mark Perrault. “It will grace the walls of our reception area and will be admired by many he said, to the students, parents and community members assembled at the unveiling”. The project was led by teacher Marnie Buffet, with local artist Holly Ann Friesen, providing the artistic direction.
