Smart and Caring Community Volunteer Award 2016

The Community Foundation is pleased to announce the following nominees for their Smart and Caring Community Volunteer Award. Each individual has contributed in a major way to improve community living and the quality of life, in the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Region. The nominees will be formally recognized and thanked for their contributions to our community, at the November 2, 2016, Fall Granting Ceremony  at the Clarion Lakeside Inn, at 7:00 pm. Congratulations to all those nominated!

Three finalists have been identified as Marlyne Crawford, Ruth Girard and Peter Kirby. The voting process will now begin on our website for the three finalists and conclude on October 29, 2016. Phone calls to our office, at 467-4427, to vote for your selected candidate will also be accepted. The winner will be announced at the November 2, 2016 Granting Ceremony. Hope to see you all there.
