3rd Annual Smart and Caring Community Volunteer Award Nominations

The Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation is ready to launch their 3rd Annual Smart and Caring Community Volunteer Award.  Established in 2015, the Award recognizes the efforts of community minded individuals who have made a real difference in the lives of others, in the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Region. Nominations will close on Friday October 20, 2017 at midnight. A total of three finalists will then be chosen.

A voting process will take place, on Facebook, on our website (www.klwcf.ca), by email at info@klwcf.ca  and by phone: 807-467-4427, between October 24th and midnight on October 31st. The finalist with the most votes will be declared the winner of the Award and will be announced at our CANADA 150 Granting Ceremony at 7:00 pm, on November 1st, 2017 at Seven Generations. Past winners include; Woody Linton in 2015 and the late Marlyne Crawford in 2016.
