$10K/10HR Giving Challenge Results

The 10 Hour Giving Challenge came to a close at 8 pm this past Friday, with a total amount of $75,000 received! We would like to thank all those who donated as we exceeded our goal of $10,000 by a substantial amount. This wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and generosity of those in our community and surrounding area. The $75,000 will go towards bettering the community in a number of different ways, and for that we would like to say thank you. We would also like to thank Copperfin Credit Union and the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company for allowing us to use their space to promote the 10 Hour Giving Challenge. Huge thanks to 89.5 the Lake as well, as they covered the event throughout the entire day. The community came together on Friday, and helped prove that the city of Kenora is one of the most generous communities around.
