ArtsFest 2017 – Studio Tours

On Friday July 28th, 2017, artists were given the opportunity to showcase their work-spaces. Many talented artists participated in the event, including:

Irene McCuaig at Inglenook Art Studio  (acrylic & watercolour painting): 1051 Railway Street, Kenora

Featured artist studio: Irene McCuaig at Inglenook. She enjoys sharing her skills through art classes. July 28th was also the last day of one of her art/dance camps for 7-14 yr olds.

Holly Ann Friesan at HAF Studio (painting & inkblot): 215 Second St. South, Kenora

Marielle Benson at Old Armouries (painting): 316 First Street North, Kenora

Elizabeth Wires at Midnight Loon Glass Studio (glass-mosaic and fused): 382 Longbow Lake Rd.

The Arts Hub (pottery, collaborative paintings, textiles, and more): 528 Third Ave South, Kenora

Featured artist studio: KACL Arts Hub. Opportunities are offered to paint, felt, sculpt, enjoy music, and much more.

Carol Vanasse at Old Armouries (acrylic and watercolour paintings): Corner of Matheson and First St. North

Marion McKay at Laughing Loon Studio (mixed media and metal): #2 8 Pearson St. West, Kenora

Kris Good at Fragile Glass Studio (glass, painting on porcelain, jewellery): 529 Third Ave South, Kenora

Featured artist studio: Kris Gould at Fragile Glass. Locally-created artwork is displayed in the 1894 church known as The Belfry.
